Six Years!

Yesterday was our sixth (yup - that's right 6) anniversary. Can you believe it? It sure doesn't seem like that long to me. That means six years ago today several of you were weaving your way home from Cherryville with MONSTER hangovers. I still think it was the best wedding ever (I know I am biased but what can I say) and although some of the last few years have been difficult they have been worth it.
All in all a very nice weekend, although my gift to Paul did not arrive on time...
We started off Saturday morning with the usual visit to the farmers market where Paul picked me out a fantastic necklace & earring's made from antique beads. I love them!
Somewhere in the afternoon we got out of town heading to Wostock - a town that is pretty much no more but has some cool buildings still standing.
Here are a few things we saw along the way:

We stayed the night in Smokey Lake before driving home on our anniversary. Sadly it was too freaking HOT to do anything at home. We did order out - Highlevel Diner - yum!

Lastly, Paul has been growing a beard... after 6 or 7 years of me bothering him yes! But when I came home from he had come to the conclusion the the heat was to much and the beard had to go.... in its place ----

I wonder what they will say at Paul's work..... fantastic!
