We are in Calgary for the weekend. Jessica is attending a Girl Guide Commissioners Conference and Paul will attempt some fishing in Fish Creek. The conference started at 7:30 last night so I don't want to tell you how fast we drove to get here on time. Fortunately the roads were clear of snow and ice even if they were very busy the entire way.
Paul called the fishing store down here in advance to see if the river was still fishable and the answer was an enthusiastic YES! So after one more trip to the fly shop to pick up the required minnow and leach imitations Paul was set to go.
Jessica has a head cold and is sure to annoy all of the ladies at the conference with her sniffles. This is NOT a good time to be sick - the sessions run from 7:00-10:00 Friday, 8:00am-10:00pm Saturday, and 8:00-noon Sunday. That leaves very little time to get better before another crazy week in the classroom.
And lastly Congrats to Tonya, Dan & Max for the new addition to their family! Ripley is a beautiful baby girl... We have to say though - T???? Only 8lbs???? After all that!
Cheers!
